Dr. Berman has been working with children diagnosed with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity, and others for over ten years. She holds a Master's Degree and teaching credential in Early Childhood Special Education, and a doctoral degree in Education with an emphasis in educational psychology. She has taught graduate level courses in curriculum and instruction, assessment, and behavioral strategies. Dr. Berman has also delivered high-quality professional development seminars in the areas of IEP writing, data collection, and classroom management. She is an advocate of active parental involvement in the special education process.
